Laurie began studying and working with natural health as a teenager but it wasn't until later that she would decide to make it her full time career. She then spent as much time as she could studying the art of healing, energetic and psychic energy transmission and spirituality. Then in 1997, she registered at the Utah College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City, Utah to attend their advanced clinical program in massage and bodywork therapies. From there she earned diplomas in Relaxation Therapy, Natural Health Consulting and Parapsychology and opened private practices in Utah and in Virginia and assisted clients in massage therapy, therapeutic bodywork , life coaching and natural health consulting.
In 1999, following her dream to teach others what she had learned, she began teaching at some of the best massage and bodywork schools throughout Virginia while still running her private practice.
While in Utah from 2001-2003, she provided psychic readings to the public in one of Salt Lake City's biggest malls. She also had the privilege to be asked to assist in the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping case. (It would be revealed later that Elizabeth was held in the same location Laurie had said years before).
In 2004 she became Director of the new Massage Therapy department at Tidewater Tech and in 2006 opened her own school for massage therapy - Mid Atlantic School of Health - in Williamsburg, VA.
Realizing her true passion and her love of teaching, coaching and consulting others in life, career, spirituality and health, she has now opened The Natural Therapy Center.com and Laurie Denise Andrews.com. And in June 2011, New Age Living - Radio on WHAN 102.9 FM and New Age Living - Internet Radio on Laurie Denise Andrews.com.
It is through these outlets that Laurie is able to live out her dream of helping the public find happiness, success, fulfillment and health through positive Universal Energy.
As a highly experienced certified and licensed Bodyworker, Teacher, Regression Therapist, Natural health Consultant, Inspirational Speaker, Numerology Master, Professional Author, and Radio Show Host, Laurie's goal is to help each person heal, achieve and know themselves better through the services she offers.
Laurie is also an approved provider with the NCBTMB (a national certifying agency for massage therapists and bodyworkers). She uses her years of experience in holistic health education to write home study and continuing education (CEU) courses for massage therapists & bodyworkers and distant learning courses for the public.
And in 2011, finally finished her PH.D and Doctor of Divinity degrees in religious studies and spiritual healing.
